Jeep Comanche from Collier in Virginia
I bought this Comanche back in 95 for 5K in
Virginia, I now live on the outer banks N.C., done a ton of beach driving,
as a lineman for the power co. put it through hell during Isabel,
nor'easters, thunderstorms, salt water flooding, towed a boat from Florida
up here, you name it. she was looking a little rough. so I stripped it down,
bumpers , body trim, yanked the bed off, etc. carried to a friend with a
body shop who did a ton of body work, paint, undercoat, spray-in bed liner,
new glass, window trim, etc. towed it back home , added a 3 1/2" Cherokee
front end lift, 4" dodge add-a-leaf rear lift, shocks, steering damper,
control arms, urethane bushings, slotted, crossed drilled rotors, ferro-carbon
pads, calipers, master cylinder, yanked out the bench seat and put in a
super comfortable set of racing buckets, took a week of fabricating but well
worth it, hard to get in & out of but when you,re in you,re IN, got
31-10.50s with 4 1/2 offset cragars, best fit I could find without more
lift. I'm not finished yet but its a everyday driver, will go anywhere, pull
anything, never gets stuck, and a blast to drive.
